Aiko Kayō was born on December 11, 1985 in Kanagawa Prefecture.

Her favorite singer is Ayumi Hamasaki. Sukiyaki, grilled eggs and strawberries are her favorite foods. Crying Out Love, In the Center of the World, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2 and Matrix Revolutions are her favorite movies. Her favorite words are “Love and Peace”.

She was finalist in Love Audition 21 auditions[1], who chooses the 5th gen members for Morning Musume, but she lost to Asami Konno, Risa Niigaki, Makoto Ogawa, and Ai Takahashi.
